The Lane Kirkland competition is usually announced at the end of December and the beginning of January; the deadline for applying is in March. Information on the competition is available on the website of the Program and facebook, on the website of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation www.pafw.pl, on the websites of the Polish diplomatic posts in countries included in the Program, and on the websites of befriended non-governmental organizations.
The e-form on the website of the Program must be filled out on-line in Polish or in English before the above-mentioned deadline. The scanned diplomas and other required documents must be sent via e-mail to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. The only document that needs to be sent by regular mail is the registration confirmation of the form with the photograph.

Stage 2 - assessment of the candidates' scholarship applications
The projects will be assessed by experts representing a given field. Among the persons who were positively evaluated, the Selection Committee will choose the candidates for the interviews.
Stage 3 - interviews
The interviews take place in the Embassies of the Republic of Poland (e.g. Kiev, Minsk, Tbilisi) or Consulates of the Republic of Poland. The interviews are conducted by the Selection Committee approved by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, in Polish or in English (in case of studies in this language).
